Have you ever woke up thinking that today was gonna be a great day!!! You would get that "to do" list done and even help out at the school with the local book fair. Well that was my plan! Then D (my husband and love of my life) comes home and shoots it all down with his "to do list" and "Budget" talks.
D is the saver in our little family, I am the attempt er, I attempt it but never seem to be able to save a dime. "BUDGET" is a nasty little word to me! I read blogs and follow coupon savers, but it just seems to never work out! My boys are picky little eaters so there is no buying food that I can make and freeze. Josh (my oldest) will only eat chicken, and white Alfredo noodles, were as Thomas ( my young one) has branched out to hamburgers. My dinners are usually chicken from the grill, fried or baked, with white noodles, then i add a vegetable that neither one eats!!! So all the coupons I save and deals I look for I never really seem to save, but I still try. OK back to my day, I decided to give in to my new depression of fail er, and just do laundry. I so want to be that mom that does it all on a shoestring budget, but I have not figured it out and it frustrates me. Tomorrow will be a better day, and next Friday is my payday!
